For my last one week Spring Break vacation ever , my family and I traveled to San Diego, California. I've been to San Diego before when I had short, curly/frizzy hair, and better yet, braces...Take a second, imagine that image for your own pleasure, and then throw it away forever. You done? Ok good, let's move on.This time around I was a 21 year old college student, and wayyyy hotter so I had a lot more fun :). Two times around makes me feel like I've seen all of San Diego (JK not really, I'm buying a condo when I become a millionaire). Since I have already witnessed the hilly fortress that is the San Diego Zoo, I had no interest to go again this Spring Break. Instead, my Mom and I ended up right across the street in Balboa Park! The land of museums and gorgeous architecture. It was like walking into a world that fused Morocco, Germany, Hawaii, and Greece into the same space. Incredible. I dressed up this particular day in a fun wid...
Today I handed in the keys to my junior year apartment. I wanted to capture the view on the roof one more time before I parted ways, and I'm sure you'll all see why it's just that much harder to say goodbye. But change is good and I'm super excited about my new place, my new roommate and going into my senior year of college on a high note! Nothing beats that view though. Hope everyone enjoys the last few days we have left in July! Next stop for me..Vancouver :) ♡Addison
On June 28th, 2015, I started a fantasy series called The Mortal Instruments. Little did I know that 2 years and one month later, I would finally finish that 6 book saga. Dedication at its finest. Now, this was obviously drawn out because I'm not a super consistent reader throughout all 12 months of the year. While I was in school, I only ever read during the summer and over winter breaks. Nonetheless, I finished and now I can move on the my next series ... GAME OF THRONES. If The Mortal Instruments took me two years to complete than I anticipate I'll finish GOT in about...10 years. Not too bad right? Anyway, if you love fantasy (Young Adult fantasy in particular) I recommend you give at least the first book a try. What else do you have to lose? I'm not a professional book reviewer but I can tell you it combines action, humor, a lil young adult romance, and present day issues all in one werewolf/fairy/vampire/shadowhunter world. Doesn't that get you hooked?...
