Happy Birthday Life in Style













Tomorrow may be my 21st birthday but today is also special. Today marks the third anniversary of Life in Style! I've successfully been posting photos for three years and that's a huge accomplishment for me. It doesn't matter that I had inconsistent periods where I didn't post for months, what matters is that I kept trying. My wardrobe has changed a lot over the past couple of years but so has my hair and even my makeup abilities. My favorite part about blogging is watching the transformation of not only my physical appearance but my self-confidence too.
Life in Style has become the other half of me, and I'm so happy I haven't given up on it! Thank you all for supporting my journey, and I hope to continue for far into the future.

San Diego Vibes

For my last one week Spring Break vacation ever , my family and I traveled to San Diego, California. I've been to San Diego before when I had short, curly/frizzy hair, and better yet, braces...Take a second, imagine that image for your own pleasure, and then throw it away forever. You done? Ok good, let's move on.This time around I was a 21 year old college student, and wayyyy hotter so I had a lot more fun :). Two times around makes me feel like I've seen all of San Diego (JK not really, I'm buying a condo when I become a millionaire).  Since I have already witnessed the hilly fortress that is the San Diego Zoo, I had no interest to go again this Spring Break. Instead, my Mom and I ended up right across the street in Balboa Park! The land of museums and gorgeous architecture. Black & Green in Lake Geneva

This has to be one of my favorite color combinations to wear which I'm pretty sure I've mentioned before on here...Anyway, I've actually been wanting to highlight this cool shirt I bought over Christmas break. It's from Banana Republic and the moment I saw it hung up, I knew I had to have it. I love the mesh texture overlay and how it's see through on the sleeve. It makes the shirt just that much more stylish then a plain black tee. Clearly, it can be worn very causal and I've worn it with Converse before which also looks super cute.  The greenery photos above are up in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. The overcast sky didn't look to nice but it really brought out the bright green in the trees and grass there. So strange how we've had so much rain over here while California is still suffering! If only we could ship our rain water to them... Anyway, it feels so nice to have photos of clothes again! Crossing my fingers
