Splatter









Before I leave for my college road trip part 2, I wanted to write a quick post featuring some very fun photos taken by my good friend Mia. This was probably one of the most fun and interesting shoots I've ever done considering I had to lie in the grass and have paint splattered all over my face. But once I saw those photos, I knew it was worth it. So a shout out to Mia for taking awesome photos for me over the past couple of years! 

College Road Trip Part 2 
My mom and I are heading out on the road again to begin another long trek to Arizona. We did this already before my freshman year but now the car we're driving is staying with me at school :) which I'm very happy about. Of course, no normal person can drive 27 hours straight through to Tucson which is why my mom and I have picked out several stops along the way to stop and look at. I'm hoping to blog at least once while I;m on the road so keep you're eyes peeled..

I'm very excited to be heading back to school though. Even though I had a surprisingly very good summer, it's time to get back into the swing of things. I cannot believe I"m already a junior though! AHHHH. Time please slow down. 

To be honest, I'm very nervous for this year just because of all the change that's happening. Which usually I don't mind change but I thought I'd be more sure of myself by my third year. Instead, I feel equally as lost as when I first went to school! Still, one of my friends gave me reassurance when she said her junior year was the best one yet so that made me feel a little more optimistic! Change is good, and I know that; I can't help but be a little nervous still. 

I know a lot of students are heading back soon so I want to wish everyone the very best of luck! Whether it's your first semester or your last, we all have the same emotions going back to school. You are not alone! There will always be someone out there willing to lend a helping hand so don't be afraid. Step out of your box and get involved, and only say no to things that are dangerous to your life (lol). You know what to do.

San Diego Vibes

For my last one week Spring Break vacation ever , my family and I traveled to San Diego, California. I've been to San Diego before when I had short, curly/frizzy hair, and better yet, braces...Take a second, imagine that image for your own pleasure, and then throw it away forever. You done? Ok good, let's move on.This time around I was a 21 year old college student, and wayyyy hotter so I had a lot more fun :). Two times around makes me feel like I've seen all of San Diego (JK not really, I'm buying a condo when I become a millionaire).  Since I have already witnessed the hilly fortress that is the San Diego Zoo, I had no interest to go again this Spring Break. Instead, my Mom and I ended up right across the street in Balboa Park! The land of museums and gorgeous architecture. Black & Green in Lake Geneva

This has to be one of my favorite color combinations to wear which I'm pretty sure I've mentioned before on here...Anyway, I've actually been wanting to highlight this cool shirt I bought over Christmas break. It's from Banana Republic and the moment I saw it hung up, I knew I had to have it. I love the mesh texture overlay and how it's see through on the sleeve. It makes the shirt just that much more stylish then a plain black tee. Clearly, it can be worn very causal and I've worn it with Converse before which also looks super cute.  The greenery photos above are up in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. The overcast sky didn't look to nice but it really brought out the bright green in the trees and grass there. So strange how we've had so much rain over here while California is still suffering! If only we could ship our rain water to them... Anyway, it feels so nice to have photos of clothes again! Crossing my fingers
