Inside on a Rainy Day

Last Saturday, I took a quick visit up to my grandparents old house that's soon to become my Aunt's new house. I wanted to take pictures outside by the barn but before I got the chance it began to downpour. So I improvised and chose one of the many rooms to photograph in, and it worked. Couldn't waste a perfectly good outfit, now could I?

I love wearing black and military green together, it's one of my favorite color combinations that works with my skin tone and hair so well. You can't tell in the photo but the skirt is half sheer. There is actually a shorter 'liner' skirt and then the rest of sheer fabric flows down to just below my knees. It's one of my new favorites. On top of that I added one of my newest additions to the statement necklace family so say hello!

San Diego Vibes

For my last one week Spring Break vacation ever , my family and I traveled to San Diego, California. I've been to San Diego before when I had short, curly/frizzy hair, and better yet, braces...Take a second, imagine that image for your own pleasure, and then throw it away forever. You done? Ok good, let's move on.This time around I was a 21 year old college student, and wayyyy hotter so I had a lot more fun :). Two times around makes me feel like I've seen all of San Diego (JK not really, I'm buying a condo when I become a millionaire).  Since I have already witnessed the hilly fortress that is the San Diego Zoo, I had no interest to go again this Spring Break. Instead, my Mom and I ended up right across the street in Balboa Park! The land of museums and gorgeous architecture. Black & Green in Lake Geneva

This has to be one of my favorite color combinations to wear which I'm pretty sure I've mentioned before on here...Anyway, I've actually been wanting to highlight this cool shirt I bought over Christmas break. It's from Banana Republic and the moment I saw it hung up, I knew I had to have it. I love the mesh texture overlay and how it's see through on the sleeve. It makes the shirt just that much more stylish then a plain black tee. Clearly, it can be worn very causal and I've worn it with Converse before which also looks super cute.  The greenery photos above are up in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. The overcast sky didn't look to nice but it really brought out the bright green in the trees and grass there. So strange how we've had so much rain over here while California is still suffering! If only we could ship our rain water to them... Anyway, it feels so nice to have photos of clothes again! Crossing my fingers
